We had the best experience diving for the first time with our instructor Sally and photographer Jenni Colliers. Throughout our experience these guys helped us with our queries and guided us to make the best out of our open water adventure. I’d highly recommend for any beginners looking to scuba dive in phi phi islands.
Today I had the chance to do an amazing dive with Barakuda dive! It was my first time diving but after this great experience I can’t wait to dive again. My dive instructor was the lovely Angie who made this trip as perfect as possible. She explained everything to me and never left my side, so I felt really secure the entire time. Besides we had so good luck today seeing lots of beautiful fish and even a turtle! I really can recommend this lovely team to everyone – frequent divers as well as beginners! This makes your stay at Koh Phi Phi really complete.
We just did these two amazing dives today with our instructor Stefan. The whole trip was very well organized, no waiting, everything went as promised, the whole crew was fun and easygoing. A big plus for us, being beginners, was that we were only a diving group of two – it s stupid, but it made us personally feel safer, like the instructor has only two of us to look after. Stefan was the best, patient, encouraging and joking all the time. We liked him since we stepped into the shop – professional diver with over 1000dives, obviously enthousiastic about his job, not luring us with all this “come to see turtles, we will see sharks” like they did at other places. He was keeping it real, knowing his sites but with all the unpredictability of the nature. He also gave us a tip for an amazing local thai restaurant 🙂 While diving, he was a good teacher, practising all the basic diving skills with us, answering our beginners questions and showing us plenty of fish, eel, coral, turtles that he found for us – and we were adequately thrilled 🙂 if we had time we would definitely do our license here, I totally recommend this place and Stefan too.
Had an amazing experience as a group of complete beginners who had never dived before. Staff were extremely knowledgable, helpful and professional. Javier and Sophie were very kind and patient with us and made sure that we had the best experience possible. Although other diving centres are cheaper in the area, we felt the money was well worth it to dive with Barakuda. The equipment was top notch and the staff made us feel very comfortable and safe throughout the day.
